  • Spicers Canada Acquires TG Graphics, Expanding its Offering and Capabilities in the Canadian Sign Industry

     

  • Spicers Canada acquires Duroflex Specialty Papers Inc., expanding its Specialty product offering.

     

  • Spicers Canada transitions both Shippers Supply and All Graphic Supplies under the Spicers name to have a single brand to market – Spicers.

  • Spicers Canada acquires Shippers Supply, expanding product mix throughout Western Canada.


  • Central National Gottesman Inc. (CNG), one of the world’s largest privately held pulp, paper, packaging and tissue companies purchased Spicers Canada Limited. Now operating under Spicers Canada ULC.


  • Coast Paper, Roll-O-Vert and Spicers in Canada consolidate into one proud company, Spicers Canada.
  • Cascades Resources was acquired by PaperlinX, an Australian based company and the name was changed to Spicers.
  • Coast Paper acquired Montreal-based L.P. Turgeon Inc. Graphic Resources changed their name to Cascades Resources across Canada.
  • Coast Paper was acquired by PaperlinX, an Australian based company.
  • Graphic Papers acquired Barkwell Paper Company Ltd. in Winnipeg. Changed the name Graphic Paper to Graphic Resources and expanded to open locations in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and Dartmouth.
  • All Graphic Supplies was founded by Charles, Chris and Cled DeSousa in Toronto, Ontario. After several years of hands-on experience, they started the business to serve the needs of sign-making and display companies across Canada. Over 28 years, they expanded the business to six Canada locations as well as the Caribbean.
  • Select Papers was combined with Graphic Papers in Toronto and operated in Toronto, Kitchener and Belleville as Graphic Papers.
  • Select Paper acquired Ontario Convertor Services Ltd and changed the name to Roll-O-Vert.
  • Wilson Munroe changed their name in Toronto to Select Paper and opened locations in Belleville and Kitchener.
  • Wilson Munroe merged with Kruger in Montreal to form Les Papiers Graphiques.
  • Shippers Supply, founded by Ron Brown in Edmonton, Alberta, started as a custom manufacturing box company. Over 40 years, the business expanded into tapes, material handling, industrial shelving, and shipping supplies with nine locations across Western Canada.
  • Coast Paper expanded eastward opening locations in Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg and Toronto.
  • Wilson-Munroe Company was acquired by Rolland Paper Company.
